Fiji’s Trade Commissioner for Australia and New Zealand, Mr Daniel Stow, was invited to speak at a panel discussion at the Business advantage, Pacific and PNG Investment Conference 2022 held in Brisbane on 15-16 August. The significant discussion accentuated the Pacific Islands Business trends as the wider Pacific Islands region is finally open for business again.

The discussion highlighted the region’s rapidly-evolving geopolitics and areas of emerging opportunity and provided business updates on some of PNG’s closest neighbours.

Trade Commissioner Stow provided an update on the tourism market & current business environment in Fiji and highlighted several investment opportunities, particularly in agro-processing, green energy & renewable technologies, ICT and outsourcing.

Held over two days at the premium Boulevard Auditorium at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, the conference aimed at senior executives, investors, and government officials featured international keynotes, panel discussions, case studies, audio-video presentations, interactive sessions, and networking events.
