His Excellency, Luke Daunivalu, the High Commissioner of the Republic of Fiji to Australia will conduct a 3-day official state visit to Victoria from 6 July – 9 July. H.E. Daunivalu will be accompanied by officials from the Fiji High Commission and Fiji Consulate General and Trade Commission.
As part of his visit, the High Commissioner will engage with members of the Fijian diaspora, members of the Victorian government, trade and investment professionals and academics. The 3-day official visit hopes to strengthen Fiji-Victoria economic and cultural relations and identify potential areas of collaboration; such as international education, sport, agriculture, tourism, ICT, art, manufacturing and judiciary people-to-people links. The state visit is also part of the Fijian Government’s commitment to ensuring consular services are provided for Fijians living in Victoria.
This mission will also include a business networking event that will be held at the Windsor Hotel, Melbourne to promote Fiji as an attractive trade, investment and tourism destination.
The Fiji High Commission and Fiji Consulate General and Trade Commission look forward to a prosperous and successful state visit.
