Fijian delegates at the Investment and Trade Mission in Australia had an eventful week-long event of engaging and networking with their Australian counterparts.
Thirty business leaders who participated in the Investment and Trade mission in Australia have shown appreciation to Investment Fiji for providing a platform to expand their network and present what Fiji can offer to Australian businesses.
The week-long event allowed the business delegation to establish deals with Australian companies to expand their businesses or supply chains.
The event was a collaboration between Investment Fiji, the Fiji Consulate General and Trade Commission, the Australia Fiji Business Council (AFBC), Pacific Trade Invest Australia (PTI) and NSW Fiji Business Council to promote investment and trade opportunities available in Fiji.
The Investment Fiji team, together with 30-member delegates from Fiji, headed by the Hon. Faiyaz Koya, Minister for Commerce, Trade, Tourism and transport team, Deputy Governor of Reserve Bank of Fiji and CEO of Fiji Revenue and Customs Service, attended the event. The business leaders who were part of the delegation presented Fijian investment and trade opportunities across different sectors and industries.
Delegates and guests had the opportunity to meet with the Fiji team & stakeholders, met other businesses in Australia, to network on investment and trade opportunities in Australia and Fiji. The Fijian delegation participated in various business-to-business meetings and networking events.
The Investment Fiji Trade and Investment Mission was held in Australia in Sydney and Brisbane from 18 July to 22 July 2022.
